Sherlock Holmes is the 2009 action/adventure revamping of the classic literary character starring Robert Downey Jr. as the now drinking, fighting, womanizing British detective, Jude Law as his practical minded sidekick Watson. In this update of the Sherlock Holmes mystery saga, Holmes' tracks down and kills the notorious murdered Blackwood, who is rumored to be a sorcerer - much to Holmes' discredit. Three months later, a series of murders similar in nature to those of Blackwood's start turning up, and to make matters stranger, his body disappears from its grave.
