Shattered Glass

Shattered Glass is a 2003 documentary drama film about the rise and fall of real-life political reporter and journalist Stephan Glass (Hayden Christensen). Glass, a writer for the popular liberal magazine The New Republic, is a rising star within the company. His articles are imaginative and funny, and he seems to have an amazing knack for finding stories that nobody else can. His editor Michael Kelly (Hank Azaria) begins to suspect something might be awry when a statement in one of his most recent articles proves to be false. This begins a struggle between Glass and his coworkers (played by Chloe Sevigny, Peter Sarsgaard, Steve Zahn, and Rosario Dawson) to determine whether he has in fact fabricated not just details, but entire stories. The total runtime of the film is 94 minutes. Anyone interested in journalism and the process of fact checking or documentary dramas will find something to like about Shattered Glass. MORE [EDIT]
