Shampoo is a 1975 satirical romantic drama by director Hal Ashby, starring Warren Beatty, Julie Christie, Goldie Hawn, Lee Grant, Jack Warden, Carrie Fisher, and Tony Bill. Beatty is George, a Beverly Hills hairdresser with a taste for the ladies and an inability to stay away from his beautiful clients. His girlfriend, Jill (Goldie Hawn), is fed up with his failure to commit and so, to keep her, he promises that they will settle down once he owns his own salon.
