Send Me No Flowers is a 1964 comedy directed by Norman Jewison. When hypochondriac George Kimball (Rock Hudson) checks into the hospital for a complete physical, he overhears his doctor discussing the fate of a terminally ill patient. George assumes the doctor is talking about him. Believing he only has two weeks to live, George sets about finding a way to take care of his wife Judy (Doris Day). Without telling her about his condition, George begins frantically searching for a new husband to take care of her. He immediately enlists his friend Arnold (Tony Randall) and the two begin a search for Judy's old college boyfriend Bert (Clint Walker).
