Screamers: The Hunting, the sequel to Screamers, returns to the mining colony on Sirius 6B for more gore, guts and glory in deep space. When the NEB corporation first discovered the planet Sirius 6B, the data indicated it was rich with valuable ore. A colony was setup and profits went through the roof until a sentient machine began creating Screamers, robots with the sole mission of killing the human population on Sirius 6B. The robots proved more than adequate at fulfilling their mission, so NEB wrote off Sirius 6B and abandoned the planet. That is, until it received a distress call 13 years later from a group of survivors.
