Scott Walker: 30 Century Man is a 2006 documentary that tracks the unusual career of the Walker Brothers' lead singer. In the early 1960s, Walker worked as a session bass player in the Los Angeles music scene, but quickly and unexpectedly shot to fame as part of the Walker Brothers trio, an American counterpart to the British Invasion. With hits like "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)" and "Make It Easy on Yourself," the band became pop idols alongside the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Yet, Walker wanted to pursue a different sort of musical style and broke off from the group to become a solo artist.
