Scandalize My Name: Stories from the Blacklist is a 1998 documentary film, written and directed by Alexandra Isles. Starring Morgan Freeman, Rosetta LeNoire, and Dick Campbell, the film takes a look at a historically significant time in black history. Beginning in Harlem, measuring the impact of Paul Robeson and the campaigns against him, and ending with a tribute to Canada Lee, the film inspects the intersection of such political factors as the Red Scare, McCarthyism, and blacklists with post-war African American activism.
