Saving Silverman is a 2001 comedy directed by Dennis Dugan. Neil Diamond fanatics and best friends Darren Silverman (Jason Biggs), Wayne LeFessier (Steve Zahn) and J.D. McNugent (Jack Black) are tight-knit members in a band called "Diamonds in the Rough." Their friendship is suddenly in jeopardy when Darren meets Judith Fessbeggler (Amanda Peet), a controlling psychologist who becomes his new girlfriend.
