Rumor Has It is a 2005 romantic comedy film by director Rob Reiner, starring Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Costner in its well-known cast. In the movie, Jennifer Aniston is Sarah Huttinger, a recently engaged but unsure of herself woman, who takes her fiancé, attractive New York lawyer Jeff Daly (Mark Ruffalo) home to Pasadena to meet her family. When she learns of a rumor that the events of “The Graduate” are based on true events involving her own family, and that she may be the result of those events, she starts to question everything about her life, including her happy romance.
