Rudyard Kipling’s The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli and Baloo is a 1997 adventure film and the sequel to The Jungle Book, both of which were produced by Walt Disney Pictures. In the film, preteen jungle boy Mowgli (Jamie Williams) is back at it, with his good pal, the amicable black bear Baloo (John Goodman). This time, Mowgli has to outrun and outsmart P.T. Barnum circus scout, Harrison (Bill Campbell), who wants to turn a pretty penny by capturing the wild boy and having him featured as a circus exhibit. When Harrison teams up with Mowgli’s greedy uncle, Baldev (Gulshan Grover), for whom Mowgli is nothing more than a block between him and his inheritance, things get even trickier for Mowgli. Luckily, he has his razor-sharp wits, from surviving in the jungle on a daily basis, and his good old friends, and a few new ones, to help him come out on top.
