Ronin is a thriller action film directed by John Frankenheimer centering on a group of ex-special forces and intelligence agents pulled together in a mission to grab a suitcase but as their plans come into action, American Sam (Robert De Niro) and French Vincent (Jean Reno) discover that not everyone is on the same side. When an IRA member Deirdre (Natascha McElhone) pulls together a group consisting of all former military ops of various origins, such as Spence (Sean Bean), Larry (Skipp Sudduth), Gregor (Stellan Skarsgard), Vincent, and Sam, they are given only the smallest of details.
