Road House is an action film about a bouncer who is in charge of cleaning up a tough, roadside bar. In the film, James Dalton (Patrick Swayze) moves to Jasper, Missouri to head security at a bar called the Double Deuce. One of the first things that Dalton does is fire a group of corrupt employees, an action that gets him sent to the hospital with a knife wound in his side. There he meets Dr. Elizabeth Clay (Kelly Lynch) and the two strike up a quick romance. Eventually, Dalton comes to the attention of Brad Wesley (Ben Gazzara), a powerful businessman who runs Jasper.
