Revanche is a 2008 Austrian thriller written and directed by G''tz Spielmann. Alex (Johannes Krisch) lives in Vienna under the employ of Konecny (Aleksander Reljic-Bohigas), the manager of the Cinderella brothel. Secretly, he dreams of starting a new life with his lover, Tamara (Irina Potapenko), one of Konecny's valued prostitutes. Knowing they can never be truly free in Vienna, Alex concocts a crude plan to raise money for their escape by sticking up a bank in his grandfather's, Hausner (Johannes Thanheiser), small country town.
