Rescue from Gilligan's Island

Rescue from Gilligan's Island is the return to the cast and antics of the world-famous TV show, Gilligan's Island. The castaways have been stranded on the island for many years now. Any technology they had has fallen into disarray, but they'd gotten fairly used to it. Skipper (Alan Hale Jr.) and Gilligan (Bob Denver) are sleeping in their hammocks one night, when a meteor streaks across the sky and lands somewhere on the island. Gilligan stumbles across it the next day while wandering around the lagoon. Unsure of what he'd just found, Gilligan brings the disc to the Professor (Russell Johnson). Upon examination, the Professor discovers that the disc is made of a special alloy that can act as a barometer. He puts it to use, testing air pressure at different parts of the island. All the experimentation yields a terrifying result: According to the barometer, the island is due for a tsunami. The professor predicts that the wave will be powerful enough to cover the entire island. Faced with the prospect of death, the castaways scramble to find means of surviving and perhaps even escaping the island. MORE [EDIT]
