Rent is a 2005 movie adaptation of the popular Broadway musical of the same name. Mark (Anthony Rapp) and Roger (Adam Pascal) do not want to pay their rent. Their landlord and former roommate Benjamin Coffin III (Taye Diggs) is planning on kicking the homeless people out of the lot next to their building so he can build a cyber studio. He tells Mark and Roger that he will give them free rent if they can talk Mark's ex-girlfriend, Maureen (Idina Menzel) into stopping her protest. Another former roommate of Mark and Roger's, Tom Collins (Jesse L. Martin), is back in town and is assaulted. He is found by a drag queen named Angel (Wilson Jermaine Heredia) and the two reveal to each other that they have AIDS and agree to attend a Life MORE [EDIT]
