Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer

Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer is a 1985 animated family adventure directed by Bernard Deyries and Kimio Yabuki. In the film, Rainbow Brite (Bettina Bush) lives in Rainbowland with her trusted horse, Starlite (Andre Stojka). She is in charge of bringing spring to Earth. When the time comes for Rainbow Brite and Starlite to head to Earth to begin the Spring process, the duo bump heads with Stormy (Marissa Mendenhall) and her horse, Skydancer (Peter Cullen). Despite Stormy's interference, Rainbow Brite tries to start Spring and is confused when nothing happens. Her confusion leads her to return to Rainbowland to try and find out why her powers are not working. Once she returns home, she receives a mysterious message that leads her to seek out the Dark Princess (Rhonda Aldrich). All of this must be done while trying to stay away from her nemesis, Murky Dismal (Peter Cullen), who is always trying to steal her magical rainbow belt. MORE [EDIT]
