Pursuit of the American Dream

Pursuit of the American Dream depicts the life of a hardworking man and his common day struggles. Obia Mensah (Elechi Wordu), who lives in Cameroon, Yaounde, is a man with high values and has his family as his main priority. After working for the same company for ten years, he loses his well deserved promotion to a less qualified, younger co-worker. Upon receiving this news, he quits in a fit of rage. Not long after he receives an email from an old friend, James Ndiaye (Valentine Ndubisi) who encourages him to go to America. After some thinking Obia decides to take him up on this offer, but has to leave his wife and children at home. This causes much internal conflict once he arrives, as he is challenged to reclaim his respect and still come home to his family. The story takes many twists and turns as Obia reveals his real reasons for moving to America. MORE [EDIT]
