Pocahontas is a Disney animated feature film released in 1995. The film tells the story of British settlers in search of gold in Virginia and most specifically Captain John Smith. Already in the new world are Chief Powhatan and his daughter Pocahontas. Pocahontas is betrothed to marry Kocoum, but dreams of more. John Smith and Pocahontas eventually cross paths and learn from each other. Chief Powhatan, however, has a fight with some of the settlers and declares them to be evil, forbidding any member of the tribe to contact them again. John Smith and Pocahontas agree to meet up anyway. Kokoum finds this out and attacks John Smith, but is killed in the process by John Smith's friend Thomas. John Smith and Chief Powhatan then fight to MORE [EDIT]
