Playgirls and the Vampire is a 1960 Italian horror movie about five beautiful show girls who get stranded at a mysterious ancient castle while traveling through unfamiliar countryside. The castle belongs to Count Kernassy (played by Italian horror legend Walter Brandi). The Count is an inviting but strange character, who lets the curvaceous women stay in his gothic castle but warns them not to wander the halls. The women, of course, don't listen. Soon the five of them are caught in a terrifying adventure, full of fantastical mysteries and dangerous creatures. Lost and alone, they won't be able to rely on their sex appeal to escape an untimely death. This classic thriller is written and directed by Piero Regnoli, when the famed Italian auteur was just beginning his career.
