Player 5150

Player 5150 is a 2008 dramatic thriller about the young and eager Joey (Ethan Embry). On the surface Joey is a happy man with a burgeoning career and a beautiful, successful fianc''e. But his high stakes job as a day trader in stocks is only a cover for serious addictions to drugs and gambling. Joey is already in debt to loan shark, Tony (Christopher McDonald), and late on his payments, and to add to the pressure, Joey's fianc''e, Ali (Kathleen Robertson), is suspicious of Joey's addictions. In a last effort to pay off his debts, Joey goes to Las Vegas to gamble and try to win back his freedom. But it turns into a gamble with his love life and his future as well. Tony's hit men show up and make threats against Joey's life, but Joey gets one last chance when Tony has to face one of his own problems. Back at home, Joey finds out that Ali is pregnant, but the two of them have to reconcile their bets and losses before they rebuild their happy life together. MORE [EDIT]
