Plan 9 from Outer Space is a 1958 science fiction oddity that has the distinction of being widely considered the worst film ever made The production also received the tribute of being lovingly recreated in Tim Burton's "Ed Wood" (1994). The story follows two space aliens, Ruler (John Breckinridge) and Eros (Dudley Manlove), who want to prevent humankind from creating the Solaranite bomb, which would destroy the entire solar system. Their plan entails reanimating the dead to act as an army. Lost in grief over the death of his young wife (Vampira), an old man (Bela Lugosi) gets struck by a car.
