Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead, released in 1994, is the third installment of the Phantasm horror series written and directed by Don Cascarelli. The film stars Angus Scrimm as Jebediah Morningside, a mortician from Morningside Mortuary who built a machine that would allow him to travel between the living and the dead. Once Jebediah traveled between life and death, he became known as The Tall Man, a sinister undertaker who turns the dead into dwarf zombies to do his bidding and take over the world. Mike (A. Michael Baldwin ) and Reggie (Reggie Bannister), who have had several dealings with The Tall Man once again continue their hunt to put an end to him and his plans of world dominion.
