Painted Smiles is a 2007 drama directed by Frank E. Jackson. The story follows three women who are finding that leading a successful life is harder than it looks on TV. Michelle (Ward Lucas) has already put two unsuccessful marriages behind her, but she is always optimistic that the right man will come along and bring some excitement and romance into her humdrum life as a stay-at-home mother. Michelle's friend Renee (Valeta Sutton) does not have any time for romance. Instead, she prefers to pursue passionate affairs. She especially enjoys men who are challenging, but once they start showing genuine affection, Renee moves on to her next target.
