Oath of Vengeance is a 1944 western directed by Sam Newfield. When Billy Carson (Buster Crabbe) and Fuzzy Jones (Al St. John) become weary of their lives as cowboys, they decide to take control of a general store. They think that this new business venture will be a success, but are surprised when they learn that all of the customers have no money and have to buy on credit. They soon discover that somebody has been stealing the ranchers' cattle, forcing them to take loans from a moneylender named Steve Kinney (Jack Ingram). The ranchers suspect that the farmers are behind the theft of the cattle, so the two groups vow to take vengeance on each other.
