Ninja Scroll: The Series vol. 3 Deliverance is the final chapter of the action-packed Ninja Scroll anime trilogy. Vol. 3 Deliverance focuses on a ninja clan war. In the most intense time of this war Shigure, the Priestess of Light is kidnapped by the Kimon clan, an evil rival clan. Jubei, her guard and dear friend, and the ninjas of the Hiruko clan catch word of her kidnapping and pursue the evil Kimon in hopes of retrieving Shigure. Meanwhile Shigure begins to realize her power as the Priestess of Light, or Light Maiden. She breaks away from her captors and is eventually reunited with Jubei. Gradually, Shigure becomes aware of the fact that it is her destiny to end the war. But Jubei and Shigure must fight through hordes of ninjas, demons and other odd creatures to even begin to think about ending the brutal clan war.
