New in Town is a 2009 romantic comedy directed by Jonas Elmer. Lucy Hill (Renee Zellweger) loves her life. She's found plenty of success as an executive in the fast-paced, glamorous city of Miami, indulging in her shoe-shopping habit and driving in luxurious sports cars. Lucy is offered an assignment in Minnesota, in a small, cold town that is the opposite of flashy Miami. But Lucy suspects that accepting the job and successfully retooling a manufacturing plant will show her talent, landing her a CEO position.
