Neo Ned is a psychological drama about a man, Ned (Jeremy Renner), who is trying to cope with his existence and searching for a place where he belongs. Ned has always looked to his father as a role model, even though he spend the majority of his life in prison. After being adopted by several families, it finally seems as if he has found a home. That is until his entire foster family commits suicide. Alone in the world once more, he joins the Aryan Brotherhood. After being charged with a murder of which he is innocent, Ned is placed in a mental institution. It is there that he meets a charming and attractive African American woman, Rachel (Gabrielle Union).
