My Gun is Quick is a 1957 mystery film based on a novel of the same name written by Mickey Spillane. The film was written by Richard M. Powell and co-directed by Phil Victor and George White. It follows private detective Mike Hammer (Robert Bray) who encounters a prostitute named Red (Jan Chaney) being attacked. During the rescue, Hammer notices Red is wearing a distinctive ring. When she later turns up murdered and the ring is no where to be found, Hammer is on the case. On the case, he finds that the ring is part of an old cache of jewelry smuggled out of France at the end of WWII by an American army colonel. Hammer suspects Red's death is tied to the ring itself and soon discovers that he is not the only person interested in the MORE [EDIT]
