Murder by the Book

Robert Hays pulls double duty playing mystery writer D.H. Mercer and his literary creation, private detective Biff Deegan. After he starts to see visions of Deegan, Mercer teams up with the fictional gumshoe to solve a real-life case. Also starring Catherine Mary Stewart and Christopher Murney, this mystery movie finds the one-man crime-fighting duo embroiled in a confusing ordeal involving murder, fraud and imminent danger.[EDIT]
