Mr. Untouchable is a 2007 film based on the true life story of Nicky Barnes, famous millionaire drug lord who transformed lifestyles when he went from rags to riches. Nicky was a notorious junkie living in Harlem who became infamously rich for controlling the heroin trade in New York during the 1970’s. Nicky was the leader of the African American crime organization known as The Council. Shortly after being coined “Mr. Untouchable”, a name introduced by a New York Times editor; Nicky was sentenced to life in jail without parole and without any promise of every being released, started dropping names.
