The Bangkok Opera staged this performance of the Mozart Requiem shortly after the Tsunami in 2005 to help raise funds for the victims of the tragedy. HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana and Cardinal Michai presided over this intensel event, organized within a few weeks of the disaster. The Orpheus Choir sings, the Siam Philharmonic plays under the baton of Somtow Sucharitkul.[EDIT]
