Mona is a 2008 independent film that asks the question: "What is friendship when love is at stake?" Bob (Adrian Martinez) and Eric (Alexander Lyras) have been best friends for fifteen years, side-by-side in New York City for life's high and, more recently, life's lows. Eric, reeling from a failed writing career and scraping by as a legal aid, has to move in with Bob until he gets his finances straightened out. When the loveable but self-deprecating Bob meets the young, vivacious Mona (Kristen Lewis), the woman of his dreams, he sees it as an opportunity to turn his life around.
