Milton Glaser: To Inform and Delight is a 2008 biographical documentary directed by Wendy Keys. Milton Glaser's most beloved and enduring creation is the "I [Heart] NY" campaign, but he has accomplished far more than that during his lifetime. Glaser is a prolific American graphic designer, helping to found New York Magazine and bringing his distinctive artistic vision to American media of all forms and types. Even people who do not recognize his name are likely to recognize some of his many logos, brands, posters, paintings or more. Although his artwork has a national and international reach, the artist especially focuses on New York, his hometown. Throughout the documentary, Wendy Keys interviews people who are close to Glaser as well as Glaser himself. The graphic designer reveals his life philosophy, explains his vision and mission as an artist and shares memories of his upbringing and life in New York, including his famous campaign from the 1970s that helped revive New York's reputation.MORE[EDIT]
