Midnight Clear, released in 2007, takes place in a small town in the Arizona desert, on Christmas Eve. The unnamed town is full of people struggling to cope with their daily lives. Both Lefty (Stephen Baldwin), a middle aged man who is suddenly unemployed and homeless, and Eva (K Callan), an elderly woman who is sick and lonely, are contemplating suicide. The film tails these two characters through the evening, in a series of vignettes, as they encounter other struggling citizens. They witness the conflict and pain of a mother (Mary Thorton) who is trying to help her young son (Dominic Scott Kay) deal with the loss of his now-brain-dead father. They experience the isolation and failure of a convenience store owner (Kirk B.R. Woller) MORE [EDIT]
