Written and directed by Josh Sternfeld, Meskada is an American thriller starring Nick Stahl, Rachel Nichols, and Kellan Lutz. The film tells the story of Detective Noah Cordin (Stahl) in his quest to solve a brutal murder. When Cordin is called to the scene of a juvenile homicide, the mother of dead boy, Allison Connor (Laura Benanti), steps up to help him solve the crime. Allison happens to be the Meskada county commissioner. Tensions are high when the town realizes that Cordin grew up in a town outside of Hillard, where the crime took place, and the two drifters that are accused of the crime have grown up amongst many of the locals of the town.
