Melvin Goes to Dinner is a 2003 romantic comedy drama directed by Bob Odenkirk. In the film, four professional people accidentally meet for dinner. Melvin (Michael Blieden) plans to have dinner with his old pal, Joey (Matt Rice). Joey is excited about dinner and when he runs into the their old friend, Alex (Stephanie Courtney), he invites her to join them also. Alex is planning on meeting the two men when she runs into her old school friend, Sarah (Annabelle Gurwitch). Sarah's not in town long, so Alex invites her to join them so she can get to see all her friends at once.
