Man of the House follows Texas Ranger Lt. Roland Sharp (Tommy Lee Jones) as he goes undercover to protect witnesses in a murder case. Five cheerleaders from the University of Texas are the only witnesses to the murder of a key prosecution informant. The killer can identify them, as well, making round-the-clock protection necessary. Sharp goes undercover, posing as the assistant cheerleading coach. The perky cheerleaders, (Christina Milian, Paula Garcias, Vanessa Furlito, Kelli Garner, and Monica Keena), have no intention of being ordered around, and the hard-nosed Ranger realizes his task is harder than he thought.
