Man of the Frontier, also known as Red River Valley, is a 1936 musical western directed by B. Reeves Eason. In the film, Gene Autry (himself) and his sidekick Frog Millhouse (Smiley Burdette) are hired to investigate accidents that keep happening at the valley irrigation company's dam construction site. Autry soon realizes there are no accidents occurring and that someone is sabotaging the site with dynamite. The town is counting on Gene and Frog to solve their problem because their drought-ravaged property desperately needs the project to be completed. If the dam is not completed the landowners risk losing their property and their livelihood. While investigating, the men are implicated in a payroll robbery and must go on the MORE [EDIT]
