Major League 3

Major League 3 is the third entry in the popular Major League baseball comedy series. Written and directed by John Warren, with the original Major League's director David S. Ward as co-writer, this 1998 film is the first Major League installment to be set in the minor leagues and features a cast that includes Scott Bakula, Dennis Haysbert, Corbin Bernsen, Ted McGinley, and Bob Uecker. Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernsen), owner of the Minnesota Twins, recruits aging minor league pitcher Gus Cantrell (Scott Bakula) to become manager of the Twins AAA minor league farm team, the South Carolina Buzz. The Buzz are made up of a rag-tag group of misfits that include pitcher Carlton "Doc" Windgate (Peter MacKenzie), who throws the slowest fastball in the history of the minors, former ballet dancer Lance "The Dance" Pere (Kenny Johnson), Japanese baseball pro Taka Tanaka (Takaaki Ishibashi) and flashy home run hitter "Downtown" Billy Anderson (Walton Goggins).
