Mail Order Wife is a 2004 mockumentary directed by Andrew Gurland and Huck Botko. In the film, Adrian (Adrian Martinez) is a lonely, Asian man living in New York. He desperately wants a wife and to be married. Andrew is a documentarian, also in New York, he offers to purchase a mail order bride for Adrian if he will allow the entire process to be filmed for a documentary. When Adrian's mail order bride, Lichi (Eugenia Yuan), arrives everything seems to be fine. Suddenly, Lichi realizes Adrian has a very dark side and she desperately tries to get away from him. When she manages to escape from Adrian she turns to Andrew the only other person she knows here. Andrew reluctantly takes Lichi in and lets her sleep on his couch. Eventually, MORE [EDIT]
