Lupin the 3rd: The Castle of Cagliostro: Special Edition is a classic anime movie that tells the tale of master thief Lupin III. After stealing a fortune of counterfeit bills, Lupin, the ever greedy man he is, realizes that the plates that made these flawless bills is more valuable than the money itself. Lupin then begins to track the counterfeit plates to the small European country of Cagliostro. Lupin and his team battle a colorful cast of characters including the local count and the last princess of the Cagliostro family. This movie is famous for being the first feature film written and directed by one of the most celebrated directors in Japanese history Hayao Miyazaki. Miyazaki is best known for writing and directing some of the most celebrated animated films and family friendly caper film brings back the classic catch me if you can style of action, adventure and the right amount of fun with Lupin III.
