Life Or Something Like It was a romantic comedy film released in 2002. The story revolves around a local television news reporter in Seattle named Lanie Kerrigan (Angelina Jolie). Lanie appears to have it all: a great job, nice things, a famous boyfriend, and ambitious dreams of becoming a network television reporter. Then one day, her whole outlook changes. Lanie is sent out to do a fluff piece on Jack (Tony Shalhoub), a homeless man who claims to be a prophet. He makes several predictions that day, including the score of an upcoming football game, what the weather's going to be like the next day, and that Lanie is going to die in exactly seven days.
