Liberty and the Littles follows the Little family on an adventure to New York City for the 4th of July. On their way, their balloon crashes into the Statue of Liberty, the discover another family of tiny people living in a repressive 19th century-type community. Tom (David Wagner) and Lucy Little (Bettina Bush) help Michelle Pierre (Katie Leigh) and P''re Egalitaire (Jim Morgan) escape from the statue and learn about the freedoms Lady Liberty represents. Grandpa Little (Alvy Moore) helps the two young Littles teach their new friends and to take the lessons back to the others living inside the statue. The animated feature film, based on a series of children's novels by John Peterson, was released in 1986 in three parts as an ABC Weekend Special. The feature was a spin-off of The Littles animated series about a family of tiny, intelligent, mouse-like beings living in the walls of a human family's home.MORE[EDIT]
