Legally Blonde is the 2001 American comedic film starring Reese Witherspoon as a sorority girl who attends law school in hopes of winning back her ex-boyfriend. When Elle Woods (Witherspoon) is told by her Harvard boyfriend that he needs a more serious girlfriend for his legal career, Elle decides that she is going to be taken seriously. Elle applies and is accepted into into Harvard Law School, but unfortunately she finds few friends amongst the haughty, pretentious crowd. Elle's ex-boyfriend Warner (Matthew Davis) then finds a new girlfriend Vivian (Selma Blair).
