Last Chance Harvey is an American romantic drama film that came out in 2008. It was written and directed by Joel Hopkins. Last Chance Harvey follows the character of Harvey Shine (played by Dustin Hoffman), an American jingle composer who is in London for his daughter's wedding. He's a lonely man who been divorced for years. While in London he randomly meets Kate Walker (played by Emma Thompson) after he's found out he's unwanted at his daughter's wedding and a flight delay has gotten him fired from his job. Kate is lonely as well and has been set up on many a failed blind date by her better off friends. A tentative and nervous connection between the two lonely souls begins to grow.
