Kontroll is a comedic thriller set in the Hungarian metro system. Bulcs'' (S''ndor Cs''nyi) is a ticket inspector and disgraced train conductor who eats and sleeps in the metro system, never going above ground or seeing sunlight. During the day, Bulcs'' and his crew, Professor (Zolt''n Mucsi), Muki (Csaba Pindroch) and Lecs'' (S''ndor Bad''r), struggle to inspect the tickets of a deeply hostile and occasionally violent populace. At night, Bulcs'' explores the abandoned tunnels of the metro. While on inspection duty one day, Bulcs'' meets Sofie (Eszter Balla), a woman dressed as a bear who never buys a ticket for the metro.
