Kiss Me, Stupid is a 1964 romantic comedy directed by Billy Wilder. Dino (Dean Martin) is a smooth-talking womanizer who has become a top-billing Las Vegas singer, winning over dozens of hearts each night. One night, during his commute, Dino has to take a reluctant detour through a little Nevada town called Climax. Two local songwriters, Orville Spooner (Ray Walston) and Barney (Cliff Osmond), can barely believe their luck at meeting the famous singer, and plot to trap him in Climax long enough to pitch their original songs. Realizing that Dino will be more likely to listen with a woman involved, Orville hatches a crazy scheme to send his wife Zelda (Felicia Farr) away, while recruiting the gorgeous and infamous prostitute Polly (Kim Novak) to pose as Mrs. Spooner and seduce Dino. But Orville himself winds up falling for his own ruse and becoming wildly attracted to Polly, while Zelda and Dino meet under different circumstances. The crazy cases of mistaken identities and romantic trysts create plenty of confusion in the quiet town of Climax.MORE[EDIT]
