Karas: The Prophesy is a 2005 action-adventure animation film. Set in a future Tokyo, the movie follows a secret war raging between the renegade demon Eko and the Karas, a clan of spectral warriors charged with keeping the light and the dark balanced in the world. The Karas take the form of humans wearing heavy body armor and can also change into a variety of armed, armored vehicles, and are devastating in battle. Eko had been the Karas charged with protecting Tokyo, but bitterness and a hunger for more power led him to go astray. He has gathered an army of evil poltergeists and given them physical forms so they can assist him in taking over this world.
