Kansas City Confidential is a 1952 movie in the film-noir genre, directed by Phil Karlson. Joe Rolf (John Payne), an ex-con, tries to make an honest living in Kansas City. As a driver for a florist, Joe imagines that the rest of his life will be safe and peaceful. To his shock, however, someone out there has other plans for him.
