Jungle Emperor Leo: The Movie is an animated motion picture that is based on the popular Japanese manga "Jungle Taitei." The film follows Leo (Dan Green), an adult lion who has recently fathered two cubs, Rune (Tara Sands) and Rukkio (Elizabeth Williams). He is tasked with protecting the animals of the jungle, as a nefarious subplot takes place to recover a valuable artifact known as the moonstone. This piece is highly sought after due to the enormous amount of energy it is capable of generating. Ham Egg (Ted Lewis) currently holds the stone, but he is forced to flee into the jungle as a criminal organization employs strong arm tactics to acquire the moonstone in order to further their own agenda. Greed and hubris bring about the downfall of many who seek to claim the stone for their themselves.
